Zippy the new meta search engine for SEO?

Zippy SearchZippy is a new meta search engine that queries other major engines such as Google, Yahoo! Search, MSN Search, Ask.com, Alexa, Technorati, and The Internet Archive and returns results in a format most suited for Webmasters and SEOs. The site was launched in September by the seasoned SEO Dave Naylor, and provides some valuable tools for site optimization.

If you click the “Information” link next to any search result to view their alexa rankings, technorati numbers, page rank, backlinks, etc.

This can be very useful for finding great link partners or super affiliates.

It gets it’s results as it queries Google, Yahoo!, MSN and Ask and compiles the results together. It then ranks the results among the four. You can also search via a single search engine such as google.

Zippy meta search engine is a handy tool for doing quick market research for free. The fact that you don’t have to use multiple tools to get the same amount of data helps to speed up the process quite a bit. It could use a little more information or directions for the new user, but all in all it’s fairly simple to use.

Dave is constantly updating and adding more great features, I believe this is something worth keeping an eye on.
